What's New GW?
Although Henry is only a sophomore, he has quickly realized one thing: Things change fast in college. Things change frequently, things change fast, and things (usually) change for the better!
This page is designed to address the many, many changes happening at GW that Henry is directly involved with in some capacity.
Stay tuned for more changes in the near future!
Welcoming President Ellen M. Granberg.
This summer marks the official transition for GW's newest president: President Ellen M. Granberg.
Henry is looking forward to meeting President Granberg and cannot wait to see all of the amazing things Henry knows that she will do for the university.
President Granberg recently released a video of her welcome message to the students and staff of GW.
Please join me in meeting and welcoming President Gandberg by watching the video below.

Moniker Madness
The GW board of trustees recently decided that GW's current moniker (The Colonials) was no longer suitable and needed to be changed. Four options were possible: revolutionaries, blue fog, ambassadors, and sentinels.
As a student at GW, Henry had the opportunity to vote on the continuously narrowing list of monikers that will replace GW's old moniker.
Henry's voting was as follows (on a scale of 1-10):
1. Revolutionaries: 10
2. Blue Fog: 5
3. Ambassadors: 0
4. Sentinels: 0
On 5/24/23 GW officially declared its new moniker to be Revolutionaries. Henry was thrilled with this decision and thinks that it is an excellent choice given the clear nod to George Washington himself and the connection it makes to GW students as change-makers. GW released a short announcement video linked below.

GW, for the first time ever, has dining halls and a dining plan on campus. This is a great change that will address food insecurity at GW and provide students with healthy On Campus food options. This means that the dining program is going through frequent changes and adjustments. One of those changes is the recently created SAP, on which Henry sits.
Henry is honored to be a member of the SAP and is looking forward to working with the dining team to continue creating a great dining experience for all GW students.
At each meeting, Henry documents and records what happens while still being engaged and active during the meeting. For dining-specific inquiries, please contact Henry and he will happily provide you with any information that can be publicly disclosed.
If you would like to know SAP's vision statement, mission statement, or see past meeting minutes please contact Henry using the contact form found on the website.
