Projects

Aside from speaking and performing, Henry creates projects (such as this website) that he is proud of and is excited to share. Below you will find a mix of personal and school projects. Enjoy!

NRHH RLC 2023 - Roll Call Video

As an NRHH delegate of the 2023 Regional Leadership Conference (RLC), I was allowed to create GW's Roll Call Video!

This video, which was heavily inspired by "Parks and Recreation", was entirely compiled by me. All of the filming, editing, and production was done by me.

A special thank you to the heads of NRHH for entrusting me with creating the Roll Call Video!

You can watch the video using the link below. Enjoy!

Forbidden Planet Productions (FPP) - RENT

Just before the semester concluded, Henry was asked by FPP to record their production of RENT. Although he had no prior experience recording a live production, the FPP board was so impressed by his past work that they asked him to record the show.

It was an honor for Henry to record this production performed by the amazing FPP actors and directed by the incredible Aaliyah Guzman.

A huge shoutout to the cast for selling out every night of their show! It was a wonderful production and it would be a crime for this show to never be seen again, it was that good. Luckily, you can watch the production by clicking the link below!

Without further ado, enjoy the show!

SMPA 2112: Introduction to Video Production

Assignment #4

The Video Production class picked up their cameras for the last time this semester. This time the students were asked to put all of their filming and editing skills to use as they created a mini-documentary. So the students gathered all their equipment once again and began filming.

For this project, Henry immediately knew who to create the documentary about. His friend, Will Roberts. Will is the General Manager of GWTV and is the Co-Executive Producer of District Debrief (GWTV's Comedy Show). Not to mention, he is literally the funniest person alive. The documentary covers what it is like to be the General Manager of GWTV and how that position has helped him in his work with District Debrief.

A huge shoutout to Will for being in this video. He did an amazing job and I (literally) could not have done this project without him.

Enjoy the video!

SMPA 2112: Introduction to Video Production

Assignment #3

The Video Production class picked up their cameras for a third time this semester. But this time it was for something a little more traditional, a good old-fashioned interview. The task was fairly simple, find someone interesting and interview them about that specific thing using the rules and guidelines discussed in class. So the class grabbed their cameras, tripods, mics, and equipment and started filming.

For this project, Henry interviewed his friend, and SA Presidential Candidate (Now, excitingly, President-Elect), Arielle Geismar. The interview covers topics from Arielle's platform to voting and everything in between.

Also, a huge shoutout to Arielle for being in this video. She did an amazing job and I (literally) could not have done this project without her.

Enjoy the video!

SMPA 2112: Introduction to Video Production

Assignment #2

The Video Production class has picked up their cameras and began to shoot, film, and edit. We have stepped away from the general and jumped head-first into the world of filmmaking. After being taught how to hold, manage, and use the camera (Panasonic CX350) our class was tasked with filming a short story.

For this project, Henry filmed his friend Kevin as he prepares for, goes to, and comes back from a job interview. Will he make it to the interview? Will he land the job? What will he eat for breakfast?! All of those questions and more can be answered simply by viewing the video below. Enjoy!

Also, a huge shoutout to my friends Kevin and Espie for being a part of this project. They did an amazing job and I (literally) could not have done this project without them.

Enjoy "The Interview"!

Assignment #1

Henry is thrilled to be taking Intro to Video Production this semester! This class focuses on learning skills in the digital sphere and turning those skills into projects like the one you see below. This project, the Photo Essay Project, tasked students with creating a photo essay consisting of 6-8 still images that tell a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Each picture needed to use one of the four picture styles we learned during class (dramatic perspective, leading lines, framing, and rule of 3rds).

For this project, Henry spent a day at the Lincoln Memorial taking pictures and soaking in the views. You can see the clear progression in time if you begin with the first picture on the top left (taken at 12:00 AM) and end with the photo on the bottom right (taken at 11:59 PM that same day)

Without further ado, please enjoy "A Day at the Lincoln Memorial"!
